Rocky Mountain National Park

Cowboy & Bubba traveled to Rocky Mountain National Park with us where they were introduced to elk and moose.  While we didn't see a bear, we did cross the trail shortly after one and we saw the damage he did as he playfully sharpened his claws on the aspen trees in our path.  We had a wonderful time and rode from 8,000 ft to 11,900 ft. in elevation.  Our GPS was wonderful in recording all the important data.  Grand Lake Lodge is the perfect setting for relaxing dinners and buffet breakfasts to ride your mules to.
We'd like to thank Kathy, Dave and Lee for taking us on a wonderful ride to Grand Ditch, the highest elevation we rode to.  They were super trail guides and provided the opportunity to see a mother moose nursing her two calves about 30 yds from us.  I opted not to take that photo.  The only charging I was interested in was at the Visitor Center and gift shop!
