This is the way the Forest Service must leave the floor of the forest because the
environmentalists have sued and halted the clean up. This is why fires devastate the area destroying everything in their paths. The fires, either started by lightening or thoughtless humans, burn the forest like a tinder box, With such fuel left on the ground, there is little to stop the spread of the flames. In my opinion, this is not good stewardship of our public lands.
